Beyonce was born the 4th september of 1981 in Texas. She was been famous when she join the famous band destiny's child . She was the composer of the band.
Finally she decided to start a solytari career and his first album is "Dangerously inlove"
Halo, it's a single of his third album " I am...sasha fierce". I love this song, it's one of my favourite song of beyonce. This song remembers me all of my personal problems and olso all those persons who war far to me.
This song is very sad but beautyfull at the same time.In this song beyonce explain how is falling in love without realizing but she like it and she is left to go.

NEW MOON

In my free time, I sometimes go with my friends, to Figueras to look at shops, listen to music...What I like is going to the cinema. I always like to see films at the cinema, it is different in my house, because everything is bigger and at the cinema it is exciting louder the at home and the films are more exciting.
The last time I went to the cinema I saw "New moon" it is the second part of "Twilight". I like Twilight very much, but in the second film there is a lot of actionand the film is very exciting.
I like the film because I identify myself with Bella, the main character.
The film is a love (what I usually like), Bella falls in love with a vampire called Edward. They have a different relationship from reality. It is a very intrigning film. I feel indentified because in the second film he tells her she must go away.

HIGHER EDUCATION IN SPAIN

There are 51 public universities in Spain (13 are in Catalunya) and 21 private universities. Madrid has the most with 13, Barcelona has eight and Valencia four. Spain's oldest university is Salamanca, founded in 1218.
Catalunya's oldest university is the one in Lleida founded in 1295.
Entry to university is by a special exam.
Somesters are between september and May, and exams are in June. Degree courses consist of three cycles. The first, is the Diplomatura, based on a credit system. The second is the Licenciatura. The third is reseatch-based.
Spain has four different types of university: escuelas universitarias, colegios universitarios, facultades and escuelas superiores de ingeniería y arquitectura.
University fees are less expensive than England.
The top five in the country are Politecnica de Madrid; complutense de Madrid; Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona; Autónoma de Barcelona; Politécnica de Catalunya.

OUMAR'S STORY

Oumar (not his real name) sells his handbags, baseball caps and sunglasses. On the promenade between Santa Margarita and Roses. In Senegal, "there are no jobs, no work at all there". They didn't want to pay a fixer to get to Europe because they cost 2000 pounds.
Oumar and his brother hid on a ship going to the Canaries for four days. It was dark, noisy and very, very cold.
And at the end of the trip, they had to jump ship and swim the last part.
The two brothers made it to Roses, where they had some friends who helped them. They spend the summer here, and then the winsters down in the south, usually in Malaga.
The have a family back home in Senegal and they try to send money, but it's not easy.

John Lennon

John Lennon was born in Liverpool, England in the year 1940. He was one of the most famous musicians and composers of pop and rock music.
Lennon usually played the guitar and sometimes the piano in his songs. A lot of his songs are about his past, for example "mother" which he wrote in honour of his mother. One part of the song talks about his father who abandoned the family when he was little: "Father, you left me, but I never left you...".
Lennon formed a group called "The Beatles" with Paul Cartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. One of my favourite songs is "Let it be". Of her favourite songs are Imagine, Stand by me and Twist and Shout.

MUSIC AND LYRICS

Alex Fletcher was a pop star in the eighties, who toured the villages at the fairs.
Finally he had the opportunity to write and record a duo with the famous Cora Corman. The only problem was that he hadn't written songs for a long time and he only has a few days to do it and become famous.
Then Sophie Fisher appears, she has just finished a relation ship and so she isn't very friendly , especially with Alex.
She helps him to write a song. He writes the music and Sophie writes the words.

Finally they fall in love. Cora Corman likes the song a lot and Alex is famous. Sophie finally finds her love Alex.

HOLIDAY IN PARIS

Hi everybody! My name is Ariadna Fernández I am a student at IES Castelló d’Empúries. In my oral presentation I want to talk about my holiday Paris.
Last september, I went to Paris with my boyfriend. I always wanted to go on this trip. We went for four days, but we didn’t visit everything, because is it very big.
We got up early, because the plane left at six o’clock. We arrived one hour before. When we arrived in Paris we had to look for the hotel it was situated in Louvre-Rivoli. The hotel wasn’t big, but it was in the centre of Paris.

To one day, we visited Notre Dam, we had wait one hour to be able to go inside. We couldn’t see everything in the city.
After, we went to the Louvre, but we didn’t go inside because there were a lot of people outside waiting.

The next day, we visited the Arc de Triomphe but we had to walk a lot because the famous avenue Champs-Elysées is very long. In that avenue there are a lot of elegant shops, at the end of it there is the l’arc de triomph. When we went to eat, we were in front of the big library and a man did a sketch of us. After to eat we went to see Moulin Rouge, is an area that is filled with erotic shops. It was a tiring day and we walked a lot.

On the third day first we went to see the Sacré coeur, and the film Amelie was recorded at Sacré coeur. Is a very long area and can also be seen all over Paris. We wanted to visit the Eiffel tower, it was most important for us. When we arrived the was a long and we waited a long time.
Inside the tower it was very big. There were shops, bars, cinemas...
When we arrived at the top it was dark. It was the best might, because we could see all of Paris.
Finally it was our last day, but we could not visit anything because our plane left in the afternoon.
When we arrived in Spain my mother was waiting for us.

THE HOLIDAY WAS FANTASTIC.

Self-evaluation

In my oral presentation I did four power points with images and I brought material and the sketch it lasted about 4:08 minutes, although I didn't go very fast.While I was doing the presentation I was very nervous and I was looking at the people to see if they were watching. At the beginning I didn't read very much but at the end I read a lot.In my opinion, I didn't use a lot of gestures and I was a little nervous. I organized the power point in order, the first slides had a little introduction about what I was going to speak about and the others about the days.I didn't give any other interesting information but it was quite enjoyable.It was quite simple language but there were some sentences that I changed the order. I used some expressions and but also and I paused between pronounce some words.I paused to show the sketch so that the people could enjoy it more.

COMPARATION

Between Tracy and Adrian there are a lot of similiraties. But the stories are very different. A lot of the similar things are the two characters have the parents divorced and they have a dog. And also, they have personal problems. For example, Adrian has problems with his parents. Because they are alcoholic, and then Adrian has to cure them.
Adrian has to eat vitamins to improve his physcal appearance. Tracy goes out with bad influences and takes drugs, she steals... And other similar things are that they like someone. Tracy likes Javi and Adrian likes Pandora. The friends in one moment of the story betray him Adrian is very mature and innocent and Tracy is very immature.
When she has problems she cuts herself but Adrian doesn't do this.

THE CAVES

Once upon a time a little girl called Paula, who was eight years old. Lived a very small village, but she was never bored because she went out to play with her friends in the park next to her house, and also she was sent to look for apples in the forest with her family.Paula was very nervous because the next day there was a school trip they were going to see the caves from years ago and she was very interested int this while she slept she thought about what she was going to see the next day and she was very happy.The next day she arrived at school and she met her friends, but there was one special boy who she never wanted to see, he was called Pol. They had never been friends. Then everybody got on the bus to go to the caves.When they arrived at the caves Paula wanted to go inside the biggest and oldest one. Finally, it was time to go inside the caves was made of stone and the cave was very big, there were a lot of corridors and everything whe was very dark.Pol scared Paula and both of them fell inside a big dark hole and they were trapped for a day and nobody could find them. Finally Pol and Paula became friends. Suddenly Paula woke up. It was only a dream and she still hadn't been on the trip.

Dear Lourdes!

My name is Ariadna Fernández Martos. I'm fifteen years old and my birthday is on 18th November. My sign is Scorpion, although I don't usually read my horoscope. I live in Castelló d'Empúries. I've got one sister, she's twenty years old and she's studying in Barcelona.

At school I'm studying 1st Batxillarat, I'm doing Social. My favourite subjects are Català and French. My hobbies are volley-ball and hip-hop, I have practiced these sports since I was seven years old.
I like animals, but I haven't got any pets. When I was small I had a cat. Called Lluna.
My favourite food is pizza and chips. In my free time I watch TV, use my computer, go to the cinema with my friends...
I'm afraid of mice, snackes and spiders.

My parents names are Joan and Marga, and my sister's name is Xènia. On Friday I'm going to Paris with my boyfriend. We will visit a lot of monuments the most important for me is the Tour Effeil.
